Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt are Hollywood's Biggest Givers

Angelina Jolie, Brad PittHollywood's glamour couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, may also be its most generous couple. The movie stars gave a combined 6.8 million dollars to charity in 2008.

According to the 2008 tax return for the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, the amount was more than double what the Hollywood couple gave in 2007. The biggest recipients were Global Health with 2 million dollars, Human Rights Watch with 1 million dollars and Pitt's Hurricane Katrina charity, the Make it Right Foundation, with 1 million dollars.

Other notable contributions included 500,000 dollars to the Armed Services YMCA of the US Army and about 1 million dollars to projects in Cambodia, the country from which Jolie adopted her first child.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reveal secret brood

Despite having six kids of their own, it’s now been revealed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have seven more hidden away.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reveal secret broodAngelina’s recent tour of an orphanage in the Middle East made some of her fans think she planned to adopt, but the Enquirer has learned the 34-year old actress supports seven kids there who have never experienced a home of their own.

“Angelina considers the orphans as her own family,” says a worker at the SOS Children’s Village in Amman, Jordan. “She stays in touch with them and really cares about how they’re doing. She and Brad both feel this is a way they can help many more children.”

The glamorous couple already have six mouths to feed; Maddox, 8, who came from Cambodia, Six-year old Pax who is from Vietnam, Zahara, aged 4, born in Ethiopia, and their own biological offspring, Shiloh, age 3, and Knox and Vivienne, who are both 16-months.

But apparently that’s not enough – Angelina then became guardian to the three girls and four boys in 2003, and has been quietly supporting their food, clothing and educational needs for six years – all in secret. And the visit soon proved her motive is purely those kids;

“Angelina just wanted to play with the children and have fun,” SOS worker, Aysha Shahin told the press. “She spent time with the family and spoke to their foster mother, Fatima. Some of our teenagers came back from University to see her and she was giving them advice about life and school.”

Ms. Jolie was introduced to the home by Queen Noor Al Hussein of Jordan, who is an Ambassador for the charity that runs the whole place. And it seems like a long-term connection.

“Angelina will definitely support us by visiting again, possibly even sponsoring a house which will pay the children’s expenses,” says Aysha. “She’s a sweetheart, and one of our greatest supporters.”

Megan Fox says 'I'm not a tigress like Angelina Jolie'

Megan Fox has said that comparing her to Angelina Jolie is completely unrequited.

The ''Jennifer''s Body'' star has been frequently compared to the Tomb Raider star owing to their similar looks and penchant for wild statements. However, the ''Transformers'', star has insisted that they are poles apart.
Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie"People compare me to Angelina Jolie, and she''s so serious and stoic. I''m the opposite," Contactmusic quoted Megan, 23, as saying.

"I''m not a tigress like Angelina. Of course, people want me to be. But I want to be the contradiction of that," she added.

Megan - who was caught in a furore after she compared ''Transformers'' director Michael Bay to Nazi party leader Adolf Hitler - blamed the comparisons with Jolie for people taking her too seriously.

"When I do interviews, I say things that I think are hysterical. But because we live in a world of sound bites, you''re not allowed to have a sense of humour."Sarcasm doesn''t translate in print at all. And neither does self-deprecating humour," she said.

Megan also said that she had doubts about her own acting skills, unlike Oscar-winner Angelina.

"I don''t know if I''m talented, I don''t know what I can do or can''t do. I had no skills at all. As a child, I had it in my head that I was supposed to be doing this, and then I did it. But I didn''t know what I was doing," she told the New York Times.

Angelina Jolie - Salt Trailer Officially Released

Angelina Jolie in SaltThe Trailer of Angelina Jolie's new film Salt has finally been released. Salt stars Angelina Jolie, and if the Salt trailer is any indication of what the film is about, this could put Jolie back into the genre that has treated her so well. Angelina Jolie really showed that she could play an action oriented character well in Wanted, and with her role in Salt she is bringing that familiar flavor. Salt could really turn into one of the bigger action films of 2010, and the first trailer was released a bit early to create some buzz and excitement way in advance.

From the looks of the first trailer for Salt, it looks like Jolie is playing a character that is at first caught out of her element, but is soon forced to defend herself against accusations from a Russian spy. Her character works for the CIA and as Evelyn Salt, serves as an interrogator early on in the preview. When something is revealed that questions her job at the CIA, Evelyn Salt is forced to react quickly, and it appears that this sets up a cat and mouse game full of intrigue and a lot of action that will let Angelina Jolie really fight her way out of the situation on screen.

Angelina Jolie was very entertaining in the film Wanted, and it seems that she will get to do many stunts in Salt as well. That's a good thing, because even back in the Tomb Raider movies, Jolie was always good in the action sequences. Those films fell short because of their stories, not because of Jolie, and it’s really nice to see her embracing the action genre once again.

Salt will hit theaters on July 23rd, 2010, and it looks safe to assume that Angelina Jolie could have another hit on her hands with Salt.
